That is the title I gave to my entry for the Feral Inc´s
skateboard design competition. My aim was to transmit,
througha catch-full slogan the company´s hardworking
D.I.Y ethos and dedicated passion towards Skateboarding
and the Arts.A self consuming heart made of skulls and repeated
as a pattern brings in popular symbolism in a dark and twisted
fashion. As for my typographical approach, a more Modernist
approach was taken so a contrast with a more saturated
background would balance the whole composition. All the
slogan words were connected in-between themselves with
the thought in mind of mixing a san-serif typeface with
calligraphic fluidity and dynamism.
